The preliminary task was helpful because it is the first time we lip synced and edited everything together at the same which was tricky to do as it was only the first time we had ever attempted it.
First of all we downloaded the song and put it into I tunes and then we put the song on the timeline and then we had to to upload all of the scenes we recorded with the actors lip syncing the song.
Because we were new to editing music videos we decided to explore the features and then apply them to the video to give us an idea of what type of effects we can use. We used overlays to change the image on the screen and it was effective because we could then fade images out and bring images from other clips into the current scene.
