Music videos have changed over the years and image has a big part to play now, there have been many songs which would have been unsuccessful without the video but the video helped create the success it gained. this is because music videos are much improved and can be the final touch to the song


there has also been alot of controversy with music videos which helps alot by giving the video publicity and then people know about it

rihanna is somebody who is very controversial when it comes to making music videos because of how sexual her music videos are and she has made succesfull music videos using that policie with videos like "we found love"


madonna is somebody who has not got the best singing ability but when it comes to creating a new image she was one of the best if not the best at using things that were going on in society to create a new image for herself, she also caused alot of controversy when her song called like a prayer was released.

image is also a very controversial matter in the music industry as it seems like image is more important than actual talent, susan boyle who is naturally talented and has an amazing singing voice may not be put in music video because of her image where as cheryl cole who is just decent at singing and helped by computer technology will be advertised more because of her stunning looks.
