Evaluation Question 4:How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

The music video was invoved in many different combinations and it involved alot of reseach to make the main product as effecive as it was. Before i used media technologies i researched the different types of media technologies that will fit with the music video.

The best media technologies are :

2. Wordle
3. Google
4. Youtube
5. Unsigned
6. Photoshop

In Terms of music for the music video we had to visit unsigned to pick the music even though we dident get our music from there in the end. This site is a site where people go to so they can promote their music. this is a real effective way of promoting music and we used this site to try and find music because there is a wide variety of music on the site so finding music is not that difficult , however this site was not as effective in terms of our media product because we did not get our music from this site

Google was used to search for websites and this is a very effective site because it shows you different options of where you can get information on , however google was not as effectiv in my combination of media products as we did not get any images from google for our digi pak or magazine advert instead we got an image from the real video to create the video.

In addition to this we used technologies like Final Cut Express to to edit the music way because this had the best software to use to create a music video it helped us fade scenes effectively and colour and effects to it.  we also used final cut express to get our lip synching on point.Furthermore we also used cameras to create an animatic as we used it too take pictures and then use final cut express to edit it together as well as film the music video as without the camera and final cut express we would not be able to create a good and successfull music video. We occasionaly used our phones to film when there were no caemras to use this was good because the iphones megapixels are very good therefore the qulity of the images were good enough.

The construction of films are very important as they determine how the eventual film will look like and if you do not construct the video properly you are highly unlikely to get a good outcome.
To make sure that the constructive parts of the film were made effectively we used final cut express and alive type with photoshop being used for the magazine advert and digi pak.


Livetype was used so that we could write tittles onto the film and so that we can make sure the tittles suit the video well enough so that it can finish off the video.Photoshop was used so that we can edit the digi pak and make it look good so it can match the magazine advert because a good digi pak can attract the audience to buy the album which is our main aim to try and promote.

Survey monkey was effective in terms of research for the video because it allowed us to interview a wide audience and it gave us feedback about our music video which was very helpful because it helped us on what we could improve it on and what we could try and change to make the video look better overall. It was also effective as it alowed us to put it on the blog which allows anyone coming on the blog to take the survey , we also put this on facebook and posted it on twitter so that many other people can take the survey.

This is an Example of a Wordle which is there to give a clear idea of what words are the most popular within the words you asked about, this is significant as it can show that what is more popular. Wordle also lets you create your image however you like and whatver you do in terms of its design is up to you, it lets you change its font and layout which is good because then yours will not always look the same as some of the others.

This wordle is a great example and shows that the most popular words are music, song and video because they are in bold and are the biggest in terms of its font.
