MOVEMENT OF THE CAMERA

It is very important to use the camera well as the way the scenes are recorded are highly reliant on the way the camera is moved. The movement of the camera grabs the audiences attention if there is any exciting scene or anything that needs to be shown particularly.
these are the most common used shots.

panning shot- a panning shot is a shot that moves slowly from side to side from a fixed axis.
tilt shot- a tilt shot is a simple shot where the camera just moves up and down on a fixed axis.

tracking shot- a tracking shot is a shot which in most cases follows the action of something happening.

MISE-EN-SCENE

mise-en-scene is a French word and means the arrangement of performers and properties on a stage for a film
the main components of mise-en-scene are

Set design
Lighting
Space
Costume
Acting

EDITING
The editing process is looked at when each scene is finished filming and then it is decided in what order to place these scenes in. when editing there are a lot of things that need to be considered for example the speed of editing and the way each scene changes for example the way a scene would fade out or fade in that is a very important aspect of editing.

Colour in media is often associated with denotation and connotation

denotation- denotation is commonly associated with symbolism fro example a certain picture could mean something

the denotation of this image is very simple , the image shows love because of the red rose and it could also be associated with romance or passion for someone.
